Tirumala is a small hill town in Andhra Pradesh,India. It is a well known divine pilgrim center of Hindus, it is popularly known as Sri Venkateshwara Swamivaru Temple - which is dedicated for the Supreme God Shri mann Narayana/Maha Vishnu. The Tirumala Hill comprises seven peaks representing the seven hoods of Adisesha, thus earning the name Seshachalam. The seven peaks are called Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri. The sacred temple of Sri Venkateswara is located on the seventh peak, Venkatadri (Venkata Hill), and lies on the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini. Tirumala is about 26km from Tirupati.
